Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1USA – Thailand

Your journey begins — depart the USA on your overnight flight across the Pacific. Sit back, settle in and cross the International Date Line while you sleep; the Kingdom is waiting on the other side.

Day 2Arrive in Bangkok

Welcome to Thailand's food capital! You're met at the airport and transferred to your central 4-star hotel, then gather for a relaxed welcome dinner where your culinary host introduces the flavours and stories of the journey ahead.

Day 3Royal Bangkok & First Flavours

Explore the Grand Palace and riverside temples in the morning, then begin your food story with a guided market walk and a tasting of classic Thai dishes — the foundations of the cuisine you'll come to know intimately.

Day 4Original Tuk Tuk Michelin Food Tour

Tonight, our signature Original Tuk Tuk Michelin Street Food Tour — a category-defining experience featured on GetYourGuide. Ride by tuk tuk between Bangkok's best Michelin-recommended street stalls, tasting your way through the neon-lit city after dark.

Day 5Michelin Dining & Markets

Visit a bustling fresh market to learn its ingredients, enjoy a hands-on session with a local chef, and cap the day with a meal at a Michelin-starred or Michelin-recommended restaurant — fine dining, Thai soul.

Day 6Ayutthaya & Riverside Heritage Dining

A cultural day at UNESCO-listed Ayutthaya among temple ruins and prangs, paired with a heritage riverside lunch of central-Thai specialties — history and gastronomy hand in hand.

Day 7Fly to Chiang Mai

Fly north to Chiang Mai, home to a distinct northern cuisine. Settle into your Old City hotel, then graze your way through the Night Bazaar's food stalls — khao soi, sai oua and northern sweets await.

Day 8Market Visit & Cooking Class

The heart of the journey — shop a local market with your instructor, then a hands-on northern Thai cooking class preparing your own curries and classics from scratch, sitting down to enjoy what you've created.

Day 9Local Family & Heritage Dining

Spend the day with local food artisans and share an intimate meal in a Thai family home, then dine at a heritage restaurant where recipes have been handed down for generations — the warm, personal side of Thai food.

Day 10Doi Suthep & Farewell Feast

Visit the mountaintop temple of Doi Suthep for sweeping views, enjoy a free afternoon for cafes and markets, and gather for a celebratory farewell feast drawing together the flavours of your journey.

Day 11Departure

After a final breakfast and any last market browsing, your private transfer takes you to the airport — home-bound with new recipes, full memories and a deeper love of Thai food.

You’ll stay in handpicked hotels — mostly 4- to 5-star, well-located and full of local character — plus a few one-of-a-kind nights some journeys are famous for, like a riverside lodge or an overnight sleeper train, always called out on the itinerary.
